Applying for Netlify is not as daunting as it might seem.

Initially, I aimed to add a commenting system to my website and learned that Netlify could facilitate it. However, I had heard that applicants from China might face difficulties due to Netlify’s requirement for Stripe’s real-name verification. Nevertheless, the process proved manageable.

The key elements were having a clean IP address and opting for manual verification by sending an email to explain my learning objective. After waiting for a reply and following the provided instructions, the entire application went smoothly and took less than a day to complete.
